About Me

While I've always considered myself a writer (even when I wasn't writing), my first love is dogs. I own and operate a small all-breed grooming salon and breed and show AKC Australian Shepherds. Combining my two passions, writing and dogs, just feels right. 

Even among strangers, asking "Do you have any pets?" or "What books have you read recently?" can immediately break down barriers and encourage personal connection. In a time and culture where division is the norm, anything that acts as a catalyst for this type of human experience is worth pursuing.
